What’s new

The home screen shows your week: how many items you’ve ticked each day, and how that compares with last week. Tap a day to see its number. Counting starts now, and you can turn it off in Settings → Lists.
The home screen greets you with good morning, afternoon or evening and today’s date. “My lists” now labels your lists just above them.
The app is smaller, so it loads a little faster.
Pressing Enter on a phone keyboard now adds the item, heading or sub heading and keeps the keyboard up.
Lists can have a custom colour too: ⋯ → List colour → Custom. Dragging across the colours in the colour picker now works on phones.
Headings are bolder, and each one starts its own card. Sub headings sit in a soft pill of your theme colour, with a dot, and the items under them are set in a little. A sub heading with just one item shows a ✓ once it’s done, instead of a count.
Adding headings is easier: while you type in the add box, tap Heading or Sub heading underneath it.
Custom colour now works on phones: tap Custom and your phone’s colour picker opens.
Sub headings, for groups inside a heading, like the flights on each day. Find them under ⋯ → Add a sub heading, or tap a heading to switch it.
Pasting a list with a heading straight above other headings puts those headings inside it.
On the home screen, press and hold a list to move it, or swipe it left to delete it, with Undo. On a computer, point at a list for the × and a drag handle.
Tick It opens straight away, even on a poor connection. When there’s a new version, it offers to reload.
Moving an item by pressing and holding is smoother on phones: the list scrolls while you hold near the top or bottom, and letting go anywhere drops it in the nearest place.
Fixes: an edit is kept if you go back mid-edit or have Tick It open in two tabs, backups restore even if an item holds a Tick It link, Undo after pasting a list puts its name back, and very long lists are much quicker.
In Settings, the option you’ve chosen is easier to see, and there’s Undo for Forget past items.
On a computer, the arrow keys move between choices, and Esc goes back a step.
